We had a blast at swimming! In all of the lessons we learnt a key swim safe message.

• Hand up when in trouble
• Always have an adult watch over you
• If in doubt stay out
• Never swim when tired or cold
• Listen to the lifeguards, swim between the flags
• Always use the correct and safe equipment

Paleontology

On Thursday afternoon after a challenging morning of athletics we continued on with our investigation into dinosaurs. We were curious to investigate what it meant to be a palaeontologist and why it was an important profession.

We had big blocks of ice with dinosaurs frozen into them. We had to carefully chisel them out using various tools. We had lots of fun discussing how careful palaeontologist would have to be and why it is important to dig up fossils and understand the history of our planet.
